I was in desperate need of a lactation specialist to help with nursing, I was so please after I had met with Aditi! She was very kind and helped me and my baby so much, I left feeling confident with breastfeeding. I have had no problems since then. Aditi is absolutely amazing. I found and turned to her for help when struggling to breastfeed my 2 month old. She made me feel so welcomed, so comfortable and quickly identified some issues we were having and completely turned my breastfeeding journey around. I only wish I had found her sooner! Highly recommend to all mothers anywhere on their breastfeeding journey. I can certainly see why mothers want to stop breastfeeding but Aditi provided my husband and I with the right knowledge to make breastfeeding our twin girls a manageable and pleasant experience.

Before giving birth I took the online Sound Start course which provided details about why breastfeeding is so important and the fundamentals of how it works for mom and baby. Once I had my twin girls, I had a home visit to make sure latching was correct, check for tongue/lip ties, and babies were in right position. The hospital lactation consultants do not do an adequate enough job in my opinion. After a few weeks my husband and I had another visit at the Sound Start home office for learning how to pace bottle feed and pump while maintaining breastfeeding.

Oh my goodness, Aditi was amazing!! Sound Start responded to our reaching out crazy fast! Aditi came prepared with ALL the answers, and most importantly, she made the whole experience very comfortable and enjoyable for both me and baby. Aditi is the best!  She helped me feel so confident in my breastfeeding goals.  I thought I wasn't going to be able to strictly breastfeed this time.  I had a large and very hungry little boy and I didn't think I would be able to produce enough for him. I loved how she took the time to assess my baby and I. I felt like I was just failing but she was very compassionate and gave me the confidence and knowledge I needed to continue my BF journey. I’m so thankful for her! I was in tears when I made the appointment and ever since I left, I have not had to give my baby a bottle at all!
